Real Ales

Although all the standard pub drinks are on hand, the Guildhall's outstanding feature is its finely kept real ales; landlord Stuart assures that the ales are served in perfect condition. There are always three or four options on tap, including the regulars Greene King IPA and Bass Ale. Recent guest ales have included Greene King Abbot, Young's Special Bitter, Adnams Broadside, Ind Coope Burton Ale, Marston Pedigree Bitter, Charles Wells Bombardier, Tolly Original Best, Wadworth 6X, Ansell's Dark Mild, Worthington Bitter, Gale's HSB, Hancocks HB, and Brains S.A.

For the less discerning quaffer the usual variety of pub drinks are on hand, including Stella Artois, John Smith Smooth, Heineken, Strongbow, and Guinness as well as wine, spirits, and soft drinks.
