Although the Guildhall features pool, darts, and a jukebox, the best entertainment comes from behind the bar. Landlord Stuart Gresswell is often compared to Basil Fawlty; there's even a photograph of John Cleese above the till. Stuart's wife Gilly always has a witty anecdote or retort to share. Sons Tommy and Ian regularly appear extending the same convivial charm and clever conversation as their parents -- and if you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of Charlie, the Gresswell's beautiful Alsatian who recently won Fourth Prize at the Radnor Park Wet Nose Day Competition. The regulars who frequent the Guildhall are a unique mix indeed, and one never knows what impromptu entertainment may develop during the course of an afternoon or evening session.
