The Guildhall is situated in a historic neighbourhood near the Folkestone Harbour, at the intersection of The Bayle and The Parade. Located close to the center of the pedestrian precinct, the pub is a short walk from the fascinating graveyard of St. Eanswythe Parish Church.
The current Guildhall, which has always been an inn, was called the Globe Hotel for years. In the mid-1980s the nearby Guildhall Pub, adjacent to the Folkestone Town Hall in Guildhall Street, turned into a Pizza Hut. At that point the Globe Hotel changed its name to the Guildhall.
The Guildhall is easy to get to on foot, and street parking is available nearby.
