The Royal Oak features excellently kept real ales as well as a full range of wines and spirits. Landlord Trevor loves his beer and has had excellent training in the proper treatment of real ale. In the first two months of business the selections available included Fuller's London Pride, Elgoods Golden Newt, Adnams Broadside, Adnams Bitter, Greene King IPA, and Marston Pedigree. |
If you're hungry sandwiches are available for £1.00 and baguettes for £1.50. If you'd like a hot meal you can choose from various selections such as chili con carne, curry, pizza, jacket potatoes, vegetable lasagne, omelettes, and burgers, not to mention such favourites as sausage and egg, gammon and egg, and haddock, each served with chips. Everything is reasonably priced with nothing on the menu over £3.50. |
